I WAS HOSPITALIZED !!!

BUT I'M BACK !

For the past 3 days. Like a 3 days 2 nights camp. But it's at the hospital.

Anyway, i've changed into a brand new refreshing blog.

New Year New Blog.
Positive thinking?
Maybe so.

But still, my heart hurts when i remember about my previous blog.
That previous blog had a 6 months history of my Secondary 3 life.
That's why i'm missing it currently.

But suan le, hope my new blog wont bored you guys as well.


Let me recite what actually happened and why i ended up in the hospital ya?


On Sunday, i went for Xie En at TG.

And there i go, feeling headache and tummy pain. And indeed, i was on high fever with a temperature of 38 degrees and my tummy still hurts. Ate 2 panadols and slept till the next morning.

It was Monday morning.

I woke up, feeling giddy and blur. So i went to took my temperature and.........OMG !! I'm still having a high fever, temperature 38.6 degrees.
So, i did not attend school as my mum told me not to go.
Afternoon, went to see a doctor. And there, the doctor prescribed medicines for me and told me that if my tummy pain ended up all at the right hand side, i might be having 盲肠炎.
Of course, i took note of that. And i was given a 2 days MC. I skipped my A MATHS tuition and rest the whole day at home!


True enough, on Tuesday Morning, my fever was still very high.

With a temperature of 39.6 degrees, i was kept at home again.
I was watching my DVDs and using my computer the whole day.
At about 430pm, i felt all my tummy pains on my right hand side and it was really painful.
With no choice, my mum brought me to the doctor again lor. And the doctor told me that it might be 盲肠炎.
There he went, typed a letter, gave it to my mum, and told my mum to go to any of the hospital immediately.
Of course, my mum and i took the taxi down to Singapore General Hospital.

It was 6pm.

When i stepped into the Emergency Department, i was stunned.
Everyone there were wearing a mask covering their mouths. I was thinking what hell sickness is spreading again.
But in the end, the male nurse told us that a lot of people are having high fever. And he took the temperature for the both of us and gave us both each a mask.
I waited for the consultant for 1/2 hour and i was grinning in pain while waiting.

He examined me, took my blood and urine for test result.
It was so painful when he poked, or i should say, inserted the needle in.
That feeling sucks.
I almost cried out. But i controlled, although when he saw a bit of my tears.

After that, i was to wait outside for a nurse to push me to the observation centre.
I was again, grinning in pain for about 1 hour while waiting for the nurse.

At about 730pm, she finally came and i was wheelchaired to the observation centre.
By that time, i was already on drip. Anyway, I was transferred to a bed later and i rest there while waiting for the main doctor.

At about 8pm, my main doctor came!! (DR JEREMY NG)
He examined me and told me that it might be, it might not be,as my tummy felt very soft while he pressed on it and as for a patient with 盲肠炎, the tummy would be hard and stiff.
So, he asked my mum whether she would want me to stay for furthur observation.
Of course my mum wants. She was so afraid of sending me back to the hospital if i go home and felt the pain again.
And there they go, helping me to register this and such. I was left alone by my mum in the Observation Centre for 1 hour kay.
Looking around on my bed, overhearing people's conversations, etc.

Finally at 9pm, i was wheelchaired to my ward.
Actually i was supposed to be ward in the B2 Class Ward, with only fans and 6 person per ward.

But i was lucky! No space for me. Muahahahaha.

And i was warded to the B1 Class Ward, air-conditioned, tv attached, washroom attached and 4 person per ward.

Good thing was that i was only charged on B2 Class Ward fee. Cool right? Hahaha. I was soo fortuanate.
Anyway, I was admitted to Block 5, Ward 57, Room 10, Bed 1.

At about 10pm, 5 doctors came. And i was told that 2 of them would be my main doctors.
One was that Dr Jeremy Ng, the other was Dr Sim, i think.

Anyway, the other 3 were doctors la. One of them was a female senior doctor.
She examined me and said the same thing, it might be, it might not be, as my tummy was still very soft.
Before they went off, they told me that i was not allowed to eat or drink anything.

OMG !!! I was.........

In the end, i didnt ate anything or drank anything on the whole Tuesday.
In the night, Dr Ng and Dr Sim came and examined me every 2 hours and i didnt get to sleep well. LOL They were concern la. So i dont blame them! Haha. I was still having high fever throughout the whole night and tummy pains.

True enough, at about 3am, my mum helped me to the washroom. She went in with me cause i cant handle on my own as my right hand was useless, no energy at all as i was on drip. And surprisingly, I fainted!!!

Lucky my mum was there, if not no one will know i've fainted.
Of course, my mum quickly held me out of the washroom and back onto my bed. I was a bit awake at the point of time. And my mum called for the nurse and the nurse called for the doctor immediately.
Soon, Dr Sim came, he checked my pulse rate and blood pressure. Pulse rate was normal, but my blood pressure was.........LOW !
He said that it's because i'm still running a high fever and that's why i will feel giddy when i sit and stands up immediately. Therefore, he told the nurse to change my dripper into glucose dripper. And again, i fell asleep.

Next morning, Wednesday.

Surprisingly, at about 7am, NINE doctors came!!!!
9 kay. Not 1 or 2 lor.
But whatever it is, the BIG BIG doctor came lor. He was actually my MAIN doctor la. But he only came and examined me once!!

Anyway, i was actually told that i can go home yesterday, but in the end, they told me it's better to stay for one more day and they will do a ultra scanning for me.

So i stayed for another night in the hospital lor.

It was sad for me again, I WAS AGAIN NOT ALLOWED TO EAT OR DRINK !!!

Anyway, i stayed in my ward, watching tv, listening to my player, watching my mum and aunt eating away, listening to the conversation between a granny and my mum.
Ke lian de me, cant do anything much.

But THANKs GOD !
My friends came and visited me at the night!!!

They includes Yiting, Elysia, Shuqin, Zhihui, Kelvin, Hoekhang and Ziyong.

I LOVE THEM !!!

To be exact enough, i LOVE 4E1 !!!!

Elysia they all handed me something. Which makes me damn touched.

I truely thanks them for the efforts and THANKS MR LIM & MRS TEO!
They had their wishes on it as well. I was really touched.


We had quite a lot of fun chatting around.
Cause i've not seen them for...........4 days!!!
Anyway, i really miss 4E1 when i was in the hospital.
How i wished i can join them back in school.


After they left, at about 9 pm, i was again, watching my tv and such.
Cause there's nothing much i can do !!! REALLY !
But after a while, Dr Ng and Dr Sim came, they examined me and finally said something!!!!

THEY SAID I CAN EAT AND DRINK le.

Although i was happy, but i cant eat anything much. Cause my appettite was very very bad.
No appettite to eat anything. So i only ate half bowl of noodles.

It was lucky, on the second night, the both of them did not came in and disturb me!!!
I was soo happy, cause i can sleep peacefully without no one disturbing.
But at about 4am plus, i was awaken by quite a number of people. It's not the doctors of mine, but doctors and relatives of a patient.

She was admitted in the middle of the night. Because of 盲肠炎.
And they were quite noisy la. But it's normal.

And it was Thursday morning.

I woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face and sat back on my bed.
Looking around, dont know what i should do.
And soon, my breakfast was ready. It was beehoon la. but quite delicious.
And there i go, gobbling half of it and the other half i can finish it.

At about 830am, i was to drink finish 2 glasses of water as i'm going for the ultra scan and my bladder must be full.
And at about 930am, there i go, went for my scan. My bladder was like bursting anytime. But lucky, half and hour later, the scan ended and i was allowed to go to the washroom.

And again, i needed to wait for my scan results before i can go home. I was cooped in my ward for hours again!!!
Finally at about 3 plus, Dr Ng came for work.
He came and examined me and said that it's because of some infections in the "dunno what".
So, he say he will prescribe some medicines and produce an MC for me.

It was an 8 days MC wor. I was soo happy when i heard that. But i missed 4E1, so, i decided to go back to school on Friday and if i can go back on Friday, there shouldnt be any problem going back on Monday and Tuesday.

Whatever it is, the MC will be mailed to me during the weekends.
And at about 430pm, i was discharged from the hospital !!!!

I WAS SOO HAPPY !

My mum and i took the taxi home and i reached home in about 1/2 hour.

Today, when i went to school, I felt damn good, feeling refreshing.

And unfortuanately, Mr Lim changed our seating arrangement.
I'm gonna sit with..............................

YEOH ZI YONG

for the time being!!!
Which i think is permanent le.

Same old partner.
He's kinda interesting la. Also not that bad.

Anyway, i didnt attend CCA as my tummy was a bit feeling unwell.

*Oh ya, btw, Dr Ng and Dr Sim quite nice-looking and they are CUTE !!
