Anyway, i slept from yesterday 12am till today afternoon 2pm! =))
14 hours of sleep. Actually it's still not enough to cover all my sleeping hours during the camp! LOL

I only slept for a total of 6 hours for 2 nights at camp.
Sounds pathetic right?

SB FOC 2008

First Day.
Reached SP with Qin at 11.30am and we didnt dare to go and register first. HAHA! We went to register only at about 11.55am. Anyway, we were in different groups and it's kinda sad. Cannot sleep together, cannot eat together, cannot this and that together. LOL!

All campers were divided into 2 clusters, Matas & Maffees.
Of course, Matas is all the good people, just like the police! There were small sub groups like Cops, Forensic, Sherlock Holmes, Security, Rangers, etc etc.
Then, Maffees is all the bad people, sub groups like Rapists, Murderers, Hijackers, Stalkers, etc etc.


Ok, i belong to the Matas, group Forensic.
Stay in bunk 1 with the group Cops.
And i didnt know all of us could get so well during the whole camp.


Had ice-breaking games in our own bunks and we went for station games to get materials for our flags. Flag-making and practising on our cluster cheers.

Bath time and we even have to fight with the Maffees for shower. Cheers competition for the usage of the bathrooms. LOL! And we, the MATAS won! Hahahahaha! =)) We got to use the bathrooms for 1h and 30mins first.

After shower, we were to prepare our group skit for second night. LOL And all groups were to have the cross-dressed thingy. A guy will be in girl's uniform and a girl will be in guy's uniform.



Oh ya oh ya, and after shower, i felt so weak la!
And true enough, i'm on a slight fever and headache!
Ate one panadol and continue with my activities.


At about 11pm plus, all of us will be in some lecture rooms watching horror movies!!
Of course, there was a purpose for watching of horror movies. HAHAHAHAHA!


We were to go for NIGHT WALK at around 3am plus!

Okok. Let me talk about the horror movies first.
LOL! 4 groups, which includes my group, were in the same lecture room and we first watched the TRUE SINGAPORE GHOST STORIES.

And the most surprising part was this.......................................



THAT STORY WAS FILMED IN OUR SCHOOL!

IN JUYING SECONDARY SCHOOL!
Juying Secondary School!!!!!! LOL!!

LOL I was so shocked when i saw the school gate of Juying.
Not only at the school gate, there were also scenes at the pond, the pavilian, classrooms, fields, washrooms.
And in fact, i wasnt paying attention to the whole story. I kept looking at the backgrounds and figuring which part of the school was that. HAHAHA!


Ok, then at around 3am plus, we started our NIGHT WALK around SP.
The most scary part was that................................................We were to go in groups of 4 and no facilitators was with us.

And and and, lots of the facilitators dressed themselves like ghosts, etc etc and were at different corners to frighten us. Crossing the RED BRIDGE was our first route! RED BRIDGE RED BRIDGE.... LOL I was screaming like hell and there's only 1 guy with us. HAHA!


For one part, we had to take the lift.
Inside the lift, the lights dont seems to be working while and all buttons were blocked except level 2? The worse thing was, the lift stopped at level 3 and opened!! And and........There was a table, a photoframe of a picture of JU-ON, 2 long white candles beside, and it stated "R.I.P"!

LOL! And when we pressed closed, the lift opened itself again! WTH WTH!



But overall quite interesting la. The whole night walk lasted for quite long? And we went back to our bunks at around 4am plus. Didnt sleep cause there's no AIR CON in all bunks!

Worse still, there's no fans at all! Windows in the room were all opened, but no use at all. Cause no wind was able to blow into the room.

Hence, we sat outside at the corridors and start chatting, gossipings and debatings. LOL!

At around 5am plus, went in and had a short sleep. Woke up at 6am plus and went for another shower.


Second Day.
Gathered at 8am in MLT8.
Had cluster cheers again and went for breakfast.
BREAKFAST WAS PATHETIC K!

Bread, Kaya and Milo. -.-
$15 for bread, kaya and milo.

Anyway, after that, we started our games again.
Had lunch at about 1pm plus and i'm so damn frustrated!!!

THEY DIDNT ORDER MY FOOD!

And the stupid idiot thing was.............. I was brought to 7-eleven to buy BREAD k.

BREAD FOR LUNCH! Wth wth wth!
And i pay that bread myself!!!

No lunch for me and i had to pay and buy bread on my own!!
$15 for NO LUNCH and had to pay, buy bread myself.


Whatever la. After lunch, we had AMAZING RACE.
LOL All the games were fun but some were rather disgusting!

For eg, there was 1 station where we got to break a watermelon without anything and got to eat the whole watermelon using our hands!! There were juices from the watermelon on the table cloth and we got to suck all the watermelon juices up! OMG!

For another eg, there was 1 station where we got to catch waterbombs dropping from the 3rd level using trash bags. But in the end, our facilitator took of his tee shirt and borrowed us. LOL!

He's a good senoir! HAHA!

For afternoon activities, most of us got kinda wet. After all activities, we were given a few hours for shower and to prepare for our skits.


Gathered at the Auditorium at 6.15pm.
Principal, directors, etc came. And all campers were to attend that night with our school uniforms on.

And after that, we started our skit presentations. AND MY GROUP WAS THE FIRST GROUP TO GO ON STAGE!

LOL I was kinda like................omg? Cause i was the narrator!! Anyway, alot of skits were very funny la! Cause of those guys who acted as females! Hahahahahahahahaha. You will really laugh like hell when you see those guys acting like girls. HAHA!


Had a dinner break in between that night and we had BUFFET DINNER!
LOL But i only can eat beehoon and vegetables. HAHA!

For dinner, people from our bunk sat together and our "YAM SENG" was damn loud and long. LOL!
It's also very rare to see such big groups sitting together la.
That's why i said i didnt know all of us from the same bunk could get so well with one another.


After dinner, we went back into the Auditorium and continued with our presentations. Oh ya, advertisements by the Committees in between skits were damn funny!


Whole program ended at 10pm plus and we had DISCO NIGHT.
Everyone was damn high. Cheering, Dancing, Jumping, etc.

At around 11pm plus, only our bunk stayed outside the Audi and slack. LOL Actually is no one wanted to go back to that HOT STUFFY BUNK.
Took group photos and went back eventually.

Again, NO AIRCON THAT NIGHT! -.-
Again, we sat outside the corridor and this time round, we were discussing about BG relationships, doing magics, etc. But at about 3am plus, all of us decided to sleep without any wind or air con.


Third Day.
Woke up at around 8am plus and went for morning shower again. LOL!
Reported at MLT8 and had those cluster cheers.

Lunch at about 1pm and collected our camp tee.
Gathered back, played a game, sang songs with actions, cheers, and prize giving.

LOL In the end, MAFFEES was the cluster that won overall.

During that few hours, we also got crazy la. Senoirs were shouting, "DBA! DBA! DBA!....." "DTRM! DTRM DTRM!....." "DAC! DAC! DAC!....." "DBF! DBF! DBF!....." LOL Hence, all campers went to their own respective courses and took photos.

At around 3 plus, we took cluster photos and SB group photo.
And just before we were released, all of us were to go out to the foyer and they threw waterbombs down at us. LOL!
In the end, we got wet again! -.-


But overall, i really enjoyed the whole camp.
It was super duper fun and high.
Of course, i'd made lots of new friends!
And the bond in my bunk was super good.

After dismissed, we even went to VIVO to have dinner and we played murderer at the roof top. LOL!
It's like going out with friends that we've made in just 3 days. HAHA!

So so so, i didnt regret going for the camp and i truely recommend all freshmen to go for their SCHOOL camps. Absolutely no regrets. No regrets but fun!

And we're going out on one day on that Orientation Week. =))

Must there be so many racist issues or religious misunderstandings?

Being a vegetarian since young means i dont have enough nutrients and my brain will react slower than the rest?


After hearing what my 6th aunt told us, i'm really fed-up.
I've got a cousin who is 12 years younger than me and she's currently studying at a student centre nearby. She's just like me, a vegetarian. Her mum, her 8 years old sister and her 3 month old baby sister are all vegetarians as well. Let me count, in my big family, i've got 6 aunts/uncles and 15 cousins and 4 nieces, out of 49 people, are all vegetarians.


So do we look like we're those that cannot think or react fast?


Back to my cousin, her chinese teacher had been nagging at her because of her work. Ok, i admit, that cousin of mine is really very lazy when comes to school work. But that teacher blamed my aunt for feeding my cousin up as a vegetarian. She said children shouldnt be a vegetarian at such young age as they will think and react very slow.


Come on, i'm also a vegetarian since young, and do i think and react slow?

The most unbelievable part was that, she had been telling my cousin that only by eating meat will make her think faster. Heyhey, she's just a 5 year old child and she dont even know anything. Oh ya, she even asked her maid to go home and tell my aunt to give my cousin meat. Even the maid dont agree with that teacher at all.


Today, cousin came over to my place in the morning and of course, my mum and i were the ones who brought her to school. Before leaving our house, my mum had already planned to go and look for that chinese teacher.

Eh, dont get the wrong idea, my mum just wanted to ask about my cousin's behaviour in school. Before meeting that chinese teacher, my mum went to look for her English teacher. Her English teacher said my cousin did pay attention, isnt talkative in class. But the only thing was, her speed in completing her work is quite slow.


After finding out from her English teacher, my mum went to look for that Chinese teacher. And my mum's first question was, "老师你好，我是**的阿姨. 我是想了解**在班上的状况，有没有专心还是很爱讲话? 因为我发现她的功课不是很好. (Hi teacher, i'm ** aunt. I'm just curious about **'s behaviour in class because her work isnt very good.) "

"哦，** 在班上其实安静，不会很鸡杂. (Oh, she's actually quite quiet in class) " That's what she replied.



And she continued, "可是有件事我想告诉你们. ** 是吃素的对吗? 其实你们不可以让她这样小就不吃肉，因为她写字没有力，走路也很慢. 所以这样她的头脑会很不灵活. 你们大人要吃素是可以，但是小孩子吃素很不好. (But there's sth i want to tell you, parents. She's a vegetarian right? Actually you all shouldnt let her be banned from meat, because she doesnt have the energy to write and walk. As a result, her mind will not be active at all. Children arent like adults, they arent suitable not to eat any meat at all.) "


Like what i said earlier, my mum was only discussing about my cousin's behaviour and didnt even asked her about the vegetarian thing. And it's true, that cousin of mine is lazy and she would purposely write very slowly, act as if she dont have any energy to do anything. Everyone of us knows what she's thinking.


Anyway, my mum asked her back, "Excuse me, teacher, is there any scientific evidence that proves a young vegetarian cannot react and think like a normal child?" And that teacher actually replied this and i was like..................WHAT?!



She said she's not saying that vegetarians are slow in thinking of what, and she said she's only refering that to my cousin. Of course, my purpose to go with my mum is because i wanted to prove her that i'm also vegetarian since i was born. And do i look inactive? Look like someone who cannot react fast?


But lucky the principal came in and understand the whole situation. The first thing the principal said was, "Eh teacher, you cant say this." And she invited my mum outside because that teacher was having lessons.

A few minutes later, that teacher came out, with a book on her hand. She came forward and showed my mum an exercise book of a student and said, "You see, when this student first came, he also cannot write properly. But after i taught him, he improved so much!"



Heyhey, my mum isnt criticising about your teaching.

In the end, she was chased back to continue her lessons by the principal.




Ok, maybe it's true, a vegetarian might not have very strong energy, but we cannot accept the fact that she actually asked a vegetarian child to eat more meat, if not the mind wont react fast.

She can say my cousin is lazy, but she cant keep asking my cousin to eat meat, and she said that everyday to my cousin. After the teacher had gone back for her lessons, my mum told the principal that she's actually afraid that from today on, that teacher would be bias towards my cousin. In the end, the principal said she will go talk to that teacher and settle everything.




Come on, before i was born, i'm already a vegetarian in my mum's womb. I can run, jump, study, and even fight in these 17 years!

LOL Of course i admire my mum la. She's a damn good cook and i've decided to cook tomorrow k!! Maybe i'm influenced by some cooking shows and i want to cook tomorrow la!!!


Hope i'm able to wake up early tomorrow and go get all the ingredients needed ready.

Ok. I went to watch the 星光大道3 that competition on net just now.
Surprisingly, all the 5 competitors from SINGAPORE got into the next round to fight for the TOP 20.

SUGI & YVONNE both got quite positive comments!

Had a fun time out with Lover & Yun.
Headed down to town with lover and waited for ONG!

Raining, raining, raining, raining, raining, raining, raining............................

3 of us got to share 1 umbrella. (PATHETIC)
LOL! Bought tickets for "The Spiderwick Chronicles" and headed down to Ngee Ann City to find QIN.
Had lunch there and not bad la, we got several free dishes because Qin works there! HEE.

Went back to CINE, took neo and slacked at the HK Cafe.
Shopped around and 7.30pm, MOVIE TIME!!

I did something super embarrassing on the train la!
I lost my balance and stepped onto someone's foot.
Of course, i did apologised.
But the main thing i want to state is that, although he's a male, but 他一点风度也没有!!

Normally when someone stepped onto our foot accidentally, we will reply something like "Oh, it's ok. Nvm." Right??!! But that guy didnt even show me that kind of "nvm" face, and worse still, according to my lover, he showed a very painful expression to his gf.

Come on, i know i'm FAT. But i still dont think a male should react that way. Also, i didnt step the whole foot of his! Maybe half of it only.
